Bride

Nick is a true sweetheart and works hard to make important moments perfect! It's no surprise that he spent months planning the proposal and searching for the perfect ring.

It wasn't surprising to Bridget when Nick insisted they go out on her birthday. She didn't like to celebrate the day normally! After much pleading on Nick's part (much like every year), she relented.

Anyone who knows Bridget knows she is a major movie buff, so it was also no surprise that he'd chosen to see one that day, but he refused to tell her what they were seeing, only that he knew she'd love it. They arrived at the theater with Bridget none the wiser. She simply assumed it was an event showing of an older movie or something, which they occasionally get the chance to attend.

Upon approaching the box office, Nick asked the attendant for two tickets to the "special showing". With a wide grin on her face, the attendant responded with "Two tickets to the special showing, that will be one ring, please."

It should have dawned on Bridget at that exact moment what was happening...but it didn't. She only stared at the attendant in confusion. It wasn't until Nick turned to Bridget and started kneeling that she understood what was happening!

Cue deafening heartbeat, tears, laughs, a bit of hyperventilating, and quite a few repetitions of "REALLY?!" before she realized she never actually heard the question, only saw him staring up at her expectantly. Poor Nick stayed kneeling for what felt like a century!

But of course, she said YES!!!!

Nick took painstaking care to create an unforgettable moment. The special showing was listed on the marquee as "The Rest of Our Lives", the theater printed movie tickets that Nick and Bridget will be able to keep forever, and Nick's friend (and groomsman!) even popped out of the shadows to photograph the whole event! The theater employees all ran to the window to watch. Strangers clapped and cheered. It was a dream come true.

We owe a very sincere thank you to:

Jon, thank you for the pictures. Because of you we'll have photos we can cherish and pass down to our children.

Zac, the general manager at AMC on Mill Ave and the workers who helped to execute the plan. You helped to create lasting memories that we will treasure forever.

The table of unknown pedestrians who clapped and cheered for us. You guys were great hype men.
